Welcome to the blog where I will be posting Outreach Events for JDRF related fun(d) raising, here in the beautiful East Bay area of Northern California! It is my hope that friendships and support will be happily linked with the finding of the cure for Type 1, or Juvenile, Diabetes.

I am excited to share with you all that the manager of Contra Costa Cinemas has graciously offered to donate his time for a private showing of ALICE IN WONDERLAND IN 3D opening weekend. In addition, $7.00 of each ticket will go to JDRF to fund research! Tickets are $15.00 per person and INCLUDE A DRINK AND POPCORN. There will also be a raffle prize (to be announced the week before the event) that everyone will have a chance to win, and possibly more than one prize! I will send out a flyer as soon as it has been made to follow up. There is a potential that thousands of dollars can be raised, just by going to a movie!

MOVIE BEGINS AT 9:30 AM (BECAUSE IT IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC)
PLEASE BE AT THE THEATER BY 9 AM TO GET TICKETS, RAFFLE, POPCORN AND SEATS!
I hope to see lots of old and new friends and raise money seeing Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter!!! :-)
