Get Inspired, Get Local

A's Day (Root Beer Float, anyone?)

You won’t want to miss the Oakland A’s Annual Mug Root Beer Float Day on August 4th beginning at 10:35AM and continuing until 12:35 PM in the Eastside Club at the Coliseum. Join the A’s players, local celebrities, radio and television personalities as they serve MUG Root Beer Floats and sign autographs in the Eastside Club. Don’t forget to bring your camera! Proceeds from MUG Root Beer Float Day benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

August 4th is also JDRF Diabetes Awareness Day with the Oakland A’s. JDRF will be providing special discount Field Level Seating and a free t-shirt at the discounted price of $20 for JDRF supporters (regular price $26) and $2 of each ticket will be donated back to JDRF by the Oakland A’s!

Game time is 12:35 as the A’s take on the Kansas City Royals. Be sure to arrive early and allow plenty of time for your group to stop by the Eastside Club for a MUG Root Beer Float. T-shirts may be picked up on August 4th from 10:35 AM to 11:30 AM in the Eastside Club Lower Level Lobby (located behind Section 142) at the Oakland Stadium.

To purchase tickets visit OaklandAthletics.com/JDRF.

We hope to see you at the game!

Community Outreach

Hi Everyone,
I will be coordinating community events and finding ways to support the local Type 1 community here in the East Bay for the next year. Please write to me at galliano.gang @ comcast.net and let me know what kinds of support you would like to see from your local JDRF office. Thank you!
